2026 Back to School Hub

For the 2026-2027 school year, bus route information will be accessible electronically - making it easy and convenient. 

To start, you will need your child’s five-digit student ID number.

1. Click on the Versatrans link here:  https://elink.summitllc.com/elinkHudsonOH

2. Put the five digit student ID number in for both the username
   and the password.
    

3. Click on “students” in the top left navigation bar.  Then, click on “view my students.”
    

4. You will see a chart that contains the bus #, location of pick up/drop off, and approximate times for the pick up and drop off.  

Please note:  If you did not complete the bus opt-in form for your child sent out in the spring and summer or if your child does not qualify for busing, then there will not be any bus route information available. Please reach out to Communications Manager Jennifer Reece at 330.653.1495 or Petermann Bus Garage with any questions - 330.653.3355.

Why does it take so long at bus stops? Read about safety procedures that are required by State law. The safety of children, as they are transported to and from school and school-related events, is our highest priority.

Pick Up & Drop Of Protocols 

Welcome to the Hudson City Schools transportation program. The Hudson City School District contracts with Petermann Ltd. to provide transportation for the school district’s students. The main concern regarding transportation is the safety of all student passengers.

Petermann BusZone is an app developed to help improve communication with families. This app will securely allow parents/guardians to view the location of their child(ren)’s bus in relation to their assigned bus stop as well as provide information about their routes, in near real-time, including the scheduled arrival time of each stop.

Helpful Tips:

1) After downloading the app, enter our school access code: 6400HCSD
2) In the search field, enter the bus number you need to follow and your child’s unique student ID 
3) Lastly, create alert zones around drop-off and pick-up points

Hudson Connects Weekly 

The Hudson City School District uses an electronic flyer distribution tool called “Peachjar,” which eliminated the distribution of paper flyers in our school buildings. Flyers from community organizations will be distributed through email and posted on building Peachjar websites.

To view school-approved eflyers, Select the Peachjar link on each school building website under Site Shortcuts.
