Meet our School Resource Officers

The Hudson Police Department currently has three officers assigned as School Resource Officers (SRO’s). These three officers are full-time police officers that are employed by the Hudson Police Department that have been assigned to the position as SRO’s.

The Hudson Police Department trains and certifies its SRO’s following the Ohio School Resource Officer Association (OSROA) guidelines. 

Officer Joe Giacomazza, Officer Matt Price and Officer Officer Brian Logue have several responsibilities related to the operation of the School Resource Officer program. The officers are liaisons between the Hudson Schools and Hudson Police Department. They are assigned to work with school staff, parents, and students to help resolve issues that occur within the school, community, and home. They assist with intervention and educational services along with criminal investigations.
