Hadestown: Teen Edition Wins Big at Dazzle Awards
HUDSON, OH - Congratulations to the Hudson High School Drama Club, as their performance of Hadestown: Teen Edition won six Dazzle Awards after being nominated in 11 categories.
The production won Best Scenic Design, Best Technical Execution, Best Choreography Execution, Best Ensemble/Chorus, Best Musical and Junior Mira Chalane was awarded Best Actress for her portrayal of Hermes.
The awards were presented during a ceremony at Playhouse Square in Cleveland on May 17th. The Dazzle Awards recognize outstanding musical theater productions and students in Northeast Ohio. Hudson City Schools was one of the first high schools in the state to perform the musical.
