HMS Students Place in Holocaust Arts & Writing Competition
HUDSON, OH - Congratulations to a large group of Hudson Middle School student contest winners in the recent Akron-Summit Holocaust Arts & Writing Competition! Students from the 6 Respect and 6 Honor communities earned several awards in the visual category and one award in the writing category.
The theme for this year's contest was "Holocaust and Genocide: The Importance of Hope and Resistance."
Hudson Reynolds received 2nd place for his art piece titled "Dazzling Yellow."
The following 6th grade students earned honorable mention awards, including: Finn Alexinas, Kate Lasko, Insley McCausland, Emma Batcha, Oliver Bowman, Dylan Kempski, Lucas Robinson, Finn Sullivan, Max Awan, Zoey Wu, Alyssa Susnik, Wilton Wu, Juniper Roszczyk, Lily Baker, Hadley England, Woori Kim, Sonika Khatri, Eleanor Graydon, Elizabeth Andrianov, Addison Kritzberger, Hazel Peterson, Brooke Williams & Vincent Mahrou.
