Welcome to East Woods!

Hello!  My name is Chelsea Koss.  I am beyond excited to be teaching at East Woods Intermediate!  I am a 4th and 5th grade "looping" Intervention Specialist.  This year I am working in 5th grade with Ms. Lehman and Ms. Cochran.  My room B113 is located on the first floor.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Intervention Specialist: Moderate to Severe Needs (K-12) and a minor in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences from Ohio University.  Currently, I am working on my Masters in Secondary Transition at BGSU.  This will be my 11th year teaching but my 4th year in this wonderful district.  I have 7 years of experience in Dayton, Ohio in a K-5th Multiple Disabilities classroom and 6th-8th Multiple Disabilities classroom.  I look forward to a new school year! 

A few fun facts about Miss Koss:

-I have a dog (chocolate lab) Zoey that I adore!

-Chocolate is an essential food group in my diet.

-I re-read my favorite books (Harry Potter) every summer.

-In my spare time you can usually find me at Target!
