Dollars for Sharing.  Homeroom teachers will be collecting dollars for the following activities that have been planned to engage our students in sharing.  Funds raised will be used to purchase gift cards for our Hudson families.

Friday, October 30, 2020 - Halloween Dress-Up Day and Costume Contest: $1.00 per participating student.

        • All students are to be recognizable: Refrain from masks or costumes that obscure facial features.
        • All costumes should help maintain a safe and comfortable environment: Weapons or look-alike weapons of any kind are not permitted.
        • Costumes should be tasteful: Refrain from reference/material that is obscene, suggestive, revealing, offensive, and/or related to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, etc.
        • All costumes should allow for class/lab operations to occur smoothly: Refrain from props/paint/make-up that stains or damages furniture/equipment or otherwise is harmful to self or others.
      • Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Pajama Day! (Ready, Set, Relax Day):  We can relax by wearing our comfy (and school appropriate) PJs for the bargain price of $1.00!  No slippers, please, for safety reasons!
      • Thursday, November 5, 2020 - Crazy Hat/Crazy Sock Day:  $1.00 per participating student.

On Friday, October 30, students will report back to homeroom at the end of the day for report card, school pictures, yearbook (7th & 8th grade only) and PTO spirit wear distributions.

Ready, Set, Relax & Recharge! Monday, November 2, 2020 is READY, SET, RELAX AND RECHARGE!  Hudson Community First is partnering with the Hudson schools for one special night without homework so families can relax and spend time together. This year, with so many parents and children using electronic devices on a regular basis, we encourage you to recharge!  Put your phone down, take a break from social media, and live in the moment. Families are encouraged to eat dinner together, take a walk, make cookies, or enjoy any other activity they love.

Our picture make-up day is scheduled for Friday, November 7th. If you are unhappy with your school pictures, you must return the entire school picture packet on November 7th to qualify for a picture retake.

HMS Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm.
