Welcome Back, Students!
Attention all students. There have been a few changes regarding study hall and lunch seating in the Commons. To document where you are sitting each day, start with the icon on your iPads called Commons Seating. By clicking on this icon, it will take you to the form to fill in your name and seat # when in Study Hall and lunch. You will notice that the QR codes have been removed from the Commons tables and the table numbers have been relocated to the floor beneath the tables.
Free Meals through School Year!! USDA has made funding available to provide free meals for all students for the 20/21 school year. Please, take the meals! When you eat school meals, you help our schools receive more funding, save time prepping meals and extend your food budget. If you have questions about this program, please call the Nutrition Services office at 330-653-1203.
Beginning today our lunch options have changed.
New for Lunches! We have two options: Café of the Day and Pizza served on the hot lines. In the pizza line we will now serve ala' carte pizza/bosco sticks, hot pretzels with cheese, and nacho chips and cheese. Monday/Tuesday - Pasta Bar and Pizza - Wed/Thursday - Burger Bar and Bosco Sticks
Members of the HMS Student Council came up with the idea to have a Connectivity Club. We understand that many students miss connecting with others socially during these uncertain times. Are you interested in connecting with other students after school via Zoom? An email was sent to all grades about joining the Student Council Connectivity Club. If you are interested, you can join one of the following four groups:

Check out the HCER website for details. www.hudson.k12.oh.us/hcerSpecial Education Eligibility and the Initial Evaluation Process Webinar for Parents and Guardians: This webinar will cover what the special education eligibility evaluation is, the purpose of it, the Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and it's meeting as well as give you an overview of the evaluation process. Additionally, it will cover the eligibility categories for special education and the role of a parent/guardian in the process.
