      Show You Care…

      Bring a Book to Share!

      November 7th to November 30th

Ellsworth Hill celebrates literacy and the importance of reading with special activities throughout the school year! During the school year, character traits are discussed as students learn about being leaders.  In conjunction with the character trait, CARING, Ellsworth Hill will promote “Show You Care…Bring a Book to Share!” as an activity in November.  During the month of November, students will have the opportunity to bring a gently used or new book to share as part of this service project. The books we receive will be donated to an organization in need of children's books. When a student brings a book to school, they will be given a feather to add to our Ellsworth Hill turkeys on display in the building!  Please also consider contributing boxed side dishes (rice, potatoes, stuffing, Hamburger Helper) to support the HCSD’s Holiday Sharing Program, which benefits approximately 100 Hudson families annually.

Thank you for showing you care!!

Like the public library, parents, guardians and students can now check school media accounts online to see what books students have checked out, when they’re due, any bills, options to renew and know when a book on hold is available for pickup. To launch this new initiative, simply click on this FORM (also posted on the library webpage) and submit the information that is then routed to the building’s principal. The information is then forwarded to the Library Media Specialist who will send the directions about how to access the student’s account to those requesting access.
