Ellsworth Hill’s Daily Schedule
Students enter the building when the bell rings at 8:45 a.m. and go directly to their homerooms. Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. Students who arrive tardy (after the 9:00 a.m. bell) need to have their parents sign them in at the office. For safety and security reasons, you MUST show photo identification when picking up a child from school.
8:45 a.m. Students may enter the building9:00 a.m. Tardy bell rings; classes begin
3:41 p.m. Dismissal starts. Walkers and Bike Riders are Dismissed to the Playground.
3:42 p.m. Car riders are Dismissed to the Gym and Exit to the Playground.
3:45 p.m BUS riders are Dismissed to the Bus Lot.

Ellsworth Hill's 2-Hour Delayed Start Schedule

End time: 3:41PM Dismissal Starts
Hudson Schools has the option of delaying the start of school by two hours rather than lose an entire instructional day due to bad weather and road conditions. The District will use multiple resources to announce the day, including the Alert Now phone system. If a two-hour delay is called, school start times and bus pick up times begin two hours later than normal. If a two-hour delay is called, it is important to have alternative plans in place for childcare, particularly, since there is always the possibility that school may be canceled for the rest of the day if weather or road conditions do not improve. A second Alert Now call may take place within 60-90 minutes after the initial announcement for a two-hour delay should school be canceled for the day. HCER before school childcare, AM Kindergarten and AM Preschool are canceled if there is a two-hour delay.
