38 Hudson High School Students Receive Seal of Biliteracy!

In 2017 Governor John Kasich signed the Seal of Biliteracy into Ohio Law. Even more incredible, the impetus for the law that is now positively impacting all Ohio's children started with the vision and hard work of a Hudson High School teacher, Marth Halemba. The Seal of Biliteracy validates and certifies that students have achieved a high level of proficiency in two or more languages.

38 Hudson High School students have earned the Ohio Seal of Biliteracy in either Latin, Chinese, French or Spanish. The seal apppears on the student's diploma and is a statement of accomplishment for future employers and for college admissions.

Hudson High School may have more students who qualify for the Seal after the AP Language test results are received in July. Those Seals will be placed retroactively on the student's transcript.
