   ***After Prom will be meeting on Sept. 28th in A211 at 6:30 for any parents of SENIORS who are interested in helping out with the event which takes place the night of Prom and is a spectacular event for the students.  They would love any help they can get so swing by if you are available. 

    ***The 60th annual Parade of Bands will be held on Saturday October 2nd at 7:00 p.m at Hudson Memorial Stadium. Your Hudson Swing Marching Band will host Eastlake North, Harvey High (Painesville), James A. Garfield (Garrettsville), Olmsted Falls, Solon, Southeast (Ravenna), Tallmadge, and Wickliffe this year. Following the band performances, American Fireworks will put on a fireworks display to commemorate the 60th anniversary of this Hudson tradition.

CLUBS:   ***  Are you interested in joining a leadership group for young women?  Our leadership club, ROX, stands for Ruling Our Experiences, and it is a national leadership club available for young women who would like to hone their leadership skills.  This club has staff facilitators and a curriculum that covers the following topics: building healthy relationships, strengthening communication strategies, navigating social media, and learning basic self-defense.  The club would meet about once a week for about an hour; it costs $20 to participate.    If you are interested in this opportunity, please grab an application in the Guidance Office. Applications are due by Tuesday, September 7.
***Do you love movies? No matter what your favorite movie is, this club is for you. Come to Movie Club's first meeting on Friday September 24th in room A204, 3:10-4:00. Join our google classroom using code: byuh6vy...Hope to see you there!
   ***The High School Counselors will be hosting a Financial Aid Night on Monday, September 20th at 7:00pm. We are fortunate to have Claudia Wenzel, from John Carroll University, present on how to complete the FAFSA and ways to fund your college education. This event will be held in the high school Auditorium and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation has completed. Hope to see you there!
    ***Staff Sergeant Warren J.C. from the United States Marine Corps will be here on Wednesday, 9/22/21 at 10:40am in the guidance office talking to students about the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.  Any Junior or Senior who is interested in finding out more please sign up for this visit through Naviance.  Please stop down to Guidance with any questions.
