If a teacher tests positive for COVID, will students be required to self-quarantine for 14 days?
If a staff member tests positive for COVID, the Health Department will be doing the contact tracing and determining which students and staff are primary contacts and would need to be quarantined. There could be a scenario where an entire class is quarantined if that is the recommendation from the Health Department based on contact tracing. All assignments and any recorded instruction will be available in Google Classroom for students to access remotely. Depending on the health of the staff member, some classes that are required to quarantine may continue remotely.
